Pre‑Order Wait Times
A pre‑order kit is a sculpt that is still in the production process, which means the delivery time is longer than for kits that are already in stock.
On average, pre‑order kits take around 2 months to arrive, this is all dependant on...pre-order close dates, the manufacturer’s schedule & production volume.
Release dates, shipping schedules, and manufacturer delays are completely outside my control and i can only assure you that your baby's creation will begin once the kit reaches me.

Reserving your kit now allows you to secure rare, limited edition sculpts before they sell out & disappear from the market, you are guaranteed one as soon as it becomes available, also guaranteeing your place in my schedule for a beautifully handcrafted custom reborn baby.
Your place in my schedule is always secured once your pre‑order is confirmed, but the creation process cannot begin until the sculpt physically arrives. I’ll keep you updated throughout, and you’ll be notified the moment your kit arrives and is ready for its transformation.

How Pre‑Orders Work

Choose Your Sculpt & Design Your Baby
Select the limited edition sculpt that you’d like to reserve for your custom reborn baby.
Fill in the online order form
Choose your baby's skin tone, hair, eye colour (if applicable) etc, along with all of the little newborn details that will make your baby truly yours.

Secure Your Pre‑Order
Once I receive your order form, I will send you an invoice of your total order & a secure payment link for the deposit required.
Place your deposit to reserve the sculpt and your spot in my schedule; this guarantees availability.

Your Sculpt Arrives
Once the kit reaches me, I’ll update you and begin preparing your baby for its transformation.

Creation & Updates
The reborning process begins, I will craft your baby with meticulous lifelike details and will keep you updated throughout the process.

Final Balance & Delivery
Once your baby is complete, the remaining balance & shipping costs is due and your custom reborn will be lovingly packed ready for delivery.
After the final payment is received, your parcel will be shipped and you will receive full tracking details via email.

A custom reborn baby from 'The Baby Nest' begins with a beautifully crafted base package, which includes all the essential materials & artistry needed to bring your little one to life.
*The Base Cost Does Not Include Hair*
This base package covers - your chosen sculpt, the full, standard painting process, soft doe‑suede body, weighting, detailing, manicured finger & toe nails, magnetic pacifier/dummy and a carefully chosen outfit.
Baby will also arrive with a blanket & adoption certificate.
From there, you’re welcome to personalise your baby with optional extras, such as 'directional micro hair rooting', using the best premium mohair available, special features, or added newborn details — allowing you to create a baby that feels truly your own.

Payment Terms
Deposit Requirement
All Pre-Order custom babies require a £175 (Per Baby) non‑refundable deposit before any work begins. Your deposit secures your booking and covers materials ordered specifically for your custom baby.
Additional Payment Information
An invoice showing the full order cost, along with a separate deposit payment request, will be sent once your completed order form has been received.
Remaining Balance
The remaining balance is due within 4 weeks of your baby being completed. I will keep you up to date along the process!
Non‑Payment & Cancellation
If the final payment is not made within 4 weeks of completion:

The baby may be offered for sale to another customer
This ensures fairness and keeps the schedule running smoothly.
Refunds
Deposits are strictly non‑refundable.
(Unless for any reason your order is cancelled by 'The Baby Nest', in which case you will receive a full refund of your deposit)
Custom orders are made to your specifications and cannot be resold at the same value, so refunds are not available once work has begun.

Postage & Delivery
Postage is £8.50 within the UK and includes tracked and insured delivery.
Postage fees will be requested along with your final invoice.
International shipping is available at an additional cost.

Order Changes
Small changes may be accepted very early in the process. Once painting or rooting has begun, changes cannot be made.
Completion Time
(Once your Sculpt has come out of production)
Timeframes vary depending on the level of detail, but you will receive updates throughout the process.
The reborning process is lengthy & is estimated to take 4-8 weeks.
Delays may occur during busy periods, but quality is always prioritised.
